Imagine has a solid financial performance record, profitable each year without exception. As at last reporting Imagine had a total capitalization of over $700 million, and assets of approximately $2.6 billion. Our asset total has more than quintupled since 2001.
Imagine's majority shareholder is Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BAM) a global asset manager focused on property, power and other infrastructure assets with over US$75 billion of assets under management. Brookfield owns 80.2% of Imagine shares, with the remainder held by a number of investment funds, the largest being Franklin Resources Inc.
Imagine's principal risk bearing entities are Imagine Insurance Company Limited (Barbados) and Imagine International Reinsurance, Ltd. (Dublin). Both entities are rated A-, Stable by A.M. Best. Our Lloyd's syndicates 1400, 2525 and 2526 write a variety of property and casualty coverages and benefit from Lloyd's financial strength ratings of A (Strong) from Standard & Poors, A (Excellent) from A.M. Best's and A (Strong) from Fitch Ratings.
