The senior management of the Imagine Group Holdings Limited, Bermuda and their
respective biographical information are as follows:
President & Chief Executive Officer
Gregory E. A. Morrison has been President and Chief Executive Officer
of Imagine since May 2006. Prior to joining Imagine, Mr. Morrison was Vice Chairman
of the board of directors of Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd. (and previously its
President and Chief Executive Officer from 2003 until 2006). From 1989 until 1998
and again from 2000 until 2003, Mr. Morrison was President and Chief Executive
Officer of London Reinsurance Group Inc., a Canadian reinsurance company that
he founded. Mr. Morrison also served as the Chairman of London Reinsurance Group
subsidiaries in the United States, Barbados and Ireland and as a member of its board
of directors. From January 1999 to June 2000, Mr. Morrison served as President
of Unum Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Unum Provident Corporation.
Chief Underwriting Officer
Robert J. Forness joined Imagine in July 2002. As Chief Underwriting Officer,
Mr. Forness has responsibility for underwriting, pricing and technical support on a
global basis. Mr. Forness has over twenty years of reinsurance and investment
company experience. He began his career at Prudential Financial, Inc. (formerly
Prudential Insurance Company of America), working for eight years in corporate
finance, financial operations, strategic planning and business development, involving
Prudential's insurance, reinsurance and asset management businesses. In his last
position for Prudential, Mr. Forness was managing director of Prudential's no-load
mutual fund company. Following Prudential, Mr. Forness worked in London for four
years as Chief Operating Officer of Odyssey Re's London and Bermuda reinsurance
companies, which underwrote property catastrophe, marine, casualty, excess & surplus
lines, and alternative risk transfer business. Mr. Forness has a bachelor's degree in
Applied Economics from Cornell University, an MBA from Columbia University, and
holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael P. Daly is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and has been Chief
Financial Officer of Imagine since its inception in September 2000. Mr. Daly has
an extensive background in accounting, finance and insurance underwriting. He began
his career with Coopers & Lybrand in Canada and Bermuda where he spent eleven
years in their accounting practice. In 1990 he joined International Risk Management
Group, a worldwide captive and risk management organization, and over four years
held various senior management and finance positions in IRMG's Bermuda and the
Cayman Islands offices. From 1994-98, Mr. Daly was a Senior Vice-President at
London Reinsurance Group, a specialty reinsurance company, where he held the
positions of Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter, Head of Corporate
Development and Chief Financial Officer in the company's Barbados and Canadian
offices. For the two years leading up to his joining Imagine, Mr. Daly was Senior
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of RAM Reinsurance Company Ltd.,
a Bermuda-based financial guaranty reinsurance company.
Chief Risk Officer
James Doyle is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has been Chief Risk
Officer of Imagine since March 2004. Prior to joining Imagine, Mr. Doyle spent eight
years with Centre Re as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary Europe where he
was responsible for the actuarial sign-off of all insurance transactions, pricing,
reserving and risk management. Mr. Doyle also served as a director of several
Centre Re companies. Mr. Doyle's earlier career included seven years as Actuarial
Manager of Hibernian Insurance, one of Ireland's leading property and casualty
insurers, where his responsibilities included pricing and reserving of personal and
commercial business, design of reinsurance programs and business planning
Mr. Doyle has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Philosophy and Master
of Business Studies in Financial Services from University College Dublin.
Chief Investment Officer
Per Sekse joined Imagine in August 2002 and has served as Chief Investment
Officer since July 2005. From January 2004 to June 2005, Mr. Sekse served as Chief
Operating Officer of Brascan Strategic Asset Management LLC, where he was directly
involved with managing Imagine's investment portfolio. BSAM was an affiliated asset
management company owned by Imagine's parent company Brookfield Asset
Management prior to its being merged with Hyperion Capital Management in 2005.
Mr. Sekse has over 25 years of investment banking, insurance and risk management
experience, including 17 years in the investment banking and derivatives business
areas of Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank where he was employed from
1979 to 1996. Between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Sekse served as Senior Vice President
in charge of US brokerage business for Brandeis Brokers Limited, a London Metals
Exchange commodity broker, and from 1998 to 2002, as Vice President responsible
for corporate risk management and related insurance activities at Enron Corporation.
