For the much-anticipated launch of video game Elden Ring, Bandai Namco wanted to entice customers to purchase the physical game at GameStop.

Time was of the essence—Midnight Oil, our LA-based integrated print production and creative studio, had four weeks to ideate, concept, render, and execute the campaign!

Solution

To reach gamers where they’re at, the team created 6 custom influencer kits thematic to the game and shrouded in intrigue and mystery.

We provided the kits to gaming influencers, with each kit containing a piece of the custom display that was showcased in physical GameStop locations.

The kit also featured a poster that was available with purchase at GameStop.

Results

Elden Ring sales have set records, taking only weeks to sell 12M units worldwide, while the influencer videos have been seen over 28K times on YouTube alone!
